TBABJ mourns the death of Michael Feeney

Michael Feeney fund garners thousands in just days.

Tampa, Fl – The Tampa Bay Association of Black Journalists mourns the death of fellow NABJ’r Michael Feeney.  Feeney,  a former New York Daily News reporter, was until recently, president of the New York Association of Black Journalists.

According to the Daily News, he died of a staph infection in his kidneys.   Many people have posted notices of condolence and shock on Feeney’s Facebook page.

TV One journalist Roland Martin, as well as former MSNBC host Al Sharpton tweeted the sadness and shock in the death of Feeney.

Michael Feeney was 32 years old.
