24 Feb Congratulations to TBABJ member Ken Irby on new City of St. Petersburg post
Congratulations to Ken Irby in his new post as Community Intervention Director for the City of St. Petersburg. In his post, Irby will work with at risk youth. In November, Irby was let go from the Poynter Institute in St. Pete after 20 years . He was a visual journalism and diversity senior faculty member between 1995 and 2015. He is also a pastor at Bethel AME Church.
Irby recently formed “Men in the Making.” It’s a mentoring program which pairs kids with role-models.
