NABJ will host its second annual Media Institute for Media Professionals and Entrepreneurs on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the University of Maryland’s Knight Hall in College Park, Md.
Hosted by NABJ’s Associate Member Task Force, this year’s conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and will feature diverse programming for freelance and transitioning journalists, public relations practitioners, entrepreneurs and students. Workshop panelists represent industry leaders including keynote speaker Sheila Brooks, founder and CEO of SRB Communications, LLC and Marie Johns, deputy administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
