National Association of Black Journalists Region III Director Dedrick Russell in coordination with Camille Spencer, president of TBABJ arranged for one TBABJ member to receive free registration to attend the 2012 NABJ Convention & Career Fair in New Orleans, LA June 20-24 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.

Thousands of journalists, media executives, public relations professionals, and students are expected to attend to network, participate in professional development sessions and celebrate excellence in journalism.

It was a lucky day for TBABJ member and former secretary Ebony Grimsley. Grimsley’s name was pulled in the drawing that was open to only those members present at the chapter meeting on Saturday, May 5th at the Tampa Tribune.
